Save the date: Sunday 15th September 2024!
All pupils in our Dunedin Centres will meet at George Street Normal School on Saturday 31st August to rehearse for the Annual Demonstration Concert to be held in the Dunedin Town Hall on the afternoon of Sunday 15th September. This is a week earlier than we usually hold the concert; therefore, we will have another morning of normal classes a week after the concert.
We invite all parents and families of performing children to attend the concert. Because the Town Hall has kindly offered to us free of charge, there is no admission fee. However, donations will be most gratefully accepted on entry to defray expenses associated with the concert.
What is happening this term?
24th August: Classes as normal
31st August: Combined rehearsal at Geo St Normal School
7th September: Classes as normal
14th September: Another combined rehearsal at George St Normal School in preparation for the concert the following day.
15th September: The annual concert takes place in the Town Hall beginning at 3pm. (There will be a further notice nearer the time which will give details regarding the concert.)
21st September: Classes as normal. This is the last day of Term 3 SMMC classes this year.
